Home sweet home

I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back home. In the house I’ve called home for most of my life. In the city that, whether I used to strongly dislike it or not, has become my number one comfort zone and happy place. A relief, a way to sort of just pause from everything else and just zone out on life for a minute or five.

The weather isn’t really performing just yet. It’s been raining all day, but who cares when you’re surrounded by family and your nostrils are smelling that familiar smell of rain, asphalt and flowers mid-bloom…

The pathway up to my mom’s house smells like lavender and, rain or shine, is full of buzzing bumble bees…

I’m starting my trip with a couple of errands. Had to go to the bank and try and figure out a transaction–I transferred a large sum of money from my Indian bank account to my Swedish bank a couple of weeks back and the money has sort of just vanished. I’m not too surprised considering I’ve sort of experienced it in the past, but its pretty stressful. Hopefully, I’ll see those funds again, soon. Then, Maja and I went to get a wedding gift for my cousin. We’re going for my cousins wedding with my dad’s side of the family tomorrow.
