Yesterday was Sunday which means it was my favorite day of the week.
I celebrated that with banana pancakes and fresh strawberries. And the blackest of black coffees, of course. Would like to add that Saif made me these–not going to steal the honour or anything. How sweet?

After breakfast I ran a couple of errands. And made weird faces, clearly. Technically I wasn’t planning on uploading this photo but its literally the only one I have of me from the last few days, so this will have to do. So that you get a sense of me being a real person, and all that.
Since it was a Sunday I went to the pool as soon as I finished up my list of things to do for the day. Parked myself in the sun, read through my book draft, brainstormed on a few projects I am working on, and ordered a beer.
I’m really happy with the sarong I got in Goa when I went with my family over New Years Eve. I recently bought a gold velvet bikini from Triangl and it goes really well with it.
The pool is usually empty on Sundays, but this particular weekend it was pretty empty. I guess we’re going towards warmer temperatures again, and slowly but surely, tourists are clearing out.
After the pool my phone died so I have no photo proofs until dinner time. I went for a family lunch at Celinis at the Grand Hyatt with Saif & Co, then we made a stop at the newly opened Kitchen Garden branch in BKC. It’s so pretty and delicious, it deserves its own post anyway. More to come on that this week!
After an evening of boardgames at Zahan’s house, Saif and I retired back home for the night. I threw together a bucatini pasta with sausage and parsley. Way more delicious than it looks…
Also this sounds a bit off, but have you tried lemon/lime on sausage? It’s like my favourite thing as of late. My best Sunday tip for all you guys. On the other hand, I do enjoy lemon on everything.
Also that’s a massive glass of Coke Zero. Just want to clarify so no one gets any ideas about me chugging tubs of red wine on a Sunday. Would never! He he, well ok sometimes.
