Snapshot: My workout den

I started watching Seinfeld last night for the first time in my life, and I can’t decide whether my abs are sore from all the laughing or if its due to the TRX core workout I did on Monday (!). I kicked off the day at the gym with my trainer for a full-body workout with focus on shoulders, chest and back. The combination with cardio got me so out of breath today that I at one point I thought I may have an asthma-outburst for the first time in like 15 years. I had asthma when I was a kid but grew out of it, thankfully…

We’re working on a few fitness tips and workouts for you guys with and without equipment, so stay tuned!

This is where I work out three days a week…

I love the space and my trainer is the best. We’ve worked out together for a year and a half now – having a trainer you’re comfortable with is so important…

This is what my daily equipment looks like: Hand-wraps, boxing gloves, a small towel, hair band, non-slippery shoes for Muay Thai, and weight-lifting gloves…

I recently picked up these slip-ons at Nike and they’re making a world of a difference. Muay Thai is best done barefoot, but when I work out my feet and hand get so sweaty I can’t keep a balance or grip without wearing something to give resistance. This becomes a problem in Muay Thai, but also when doing yoga, pilates, etc. It’s something I used to be so embarrassed of but that I’ve just learned to live with. Could be a lot worse, right?

I wear my furry slippers from Topshop to and from my workouts and the guys at the gym crack up every time and say they’re for indoors? Oh well. I love them!

I also recently got a new workout wardrobe, because honestly, say what you want, but if you’re excited to put your gym-outfit on you’re way more likely to go (recommendation). That’s how I work anyway. Someone asked about these tights recently because they’re the best pair of tights I’ve ever owned.

You can find what I’m wearing here:
