Blouse from here [click], denim from Martinique (Tokyo)
I’ve worked like a dog this week and even though its not really slowing down for me this weekend, I’ve got Christmas feels thinking about the fact that the second season of Stranger Things premieres tonight. Woo frickin hoo.
I finally got a logo designed for WAC and if you feel like checking it out you can do so here [click]. I’m super happy with the way it turned out, and I’ve promised my colleague who designed it for me that I will pay him back in beers. I honestly love people who choose beverage over cash payments…
This weekend I’m blessed with blog events, Italian class, event planning, a friends birthday and a pool day with girlfriends. Sounds ideal to me? I’m kicking off my Saturday with an Adidas event by the way – I promise to share all about it.
Also, my cooking song of the week: Piu di te by Mina. Heard in Master of None, Season 2. Pour yourself a glass of wine, bring out the pasta, and blast this song – you can thank me later!
Shirt from Rheson, denim from MM6 Maison Margiela, slippers from Isabel Marant
Early this year, my friends Sonam and Rhea launched their brand Rheson. As you know by now, I’m a big fan of androgynous/oversized clothing, which makes this shirt a definite favourite. It has long sleeves partially attached underneath the short sleeve, so its not stuffy and hot the way usual shirts can get during a long day in office. Plus, its super cool.
A few more things I’m loving from Rheson right now. You can shop Rheson here [click] or at a Shoppers Stop near you. I’m planning on picking up the grey t-shirt dress today after work. Perfect for a casual Sunday – from brunch to the pool.
Top and skirt from Bangkok (no brand), glasses from Kaleos, sneakers from Veja***
[***Veja is a French brand that makes ecological and fair trade sneakers. They work with cooperatives of small producers and social associations in Brazil and France. I get compliments on my ‘leather’ sneakers all the time, and it feels damn good knowing that what I’m wearing is as transparent as my shower curtain… I got mine somewhere in Soho, London]
It’s Friday today, and I woke up tracking Saif’s flight somewhere over Russia. I always do this when someone close to me is traveling – track their flight all day and think of how it’s going up there. After a lifetime of not caring about traveling, I’ve developed this fear of flying. I really hope it goes away at some point – a friend of mine actually went to rehab for something this. Although, I don’t think that will be necessary.
I’m taking care of a couple of work calls over breakfast today, and simultaneously trying to decide what to make myself for dinner. I’m torn between a cauliflower bacon soup and or a fresh gorgonzola pasta. Thoughts?
I’m meeting my friend Sarah for an after-work glass of wine today, and then I’m planning to cook dinner for one at home. There’s a part of me considering stepping out with a couple of friends tonight, but I have a workout tomorrow morning which I’d like to be ready for. Decisions decisions…
My “armpit vaginas” have literally disappeared over the last two weeks of workouts, and now I’m sort of addicted to making sure they don’t return. If you don’t know what an armpit vagina is, first of all, you’re lucky, and secondly, you can learn about it here [click]
